Niraj Sharan, Aura Inc's founder, has spent 20 years in various management and business development positions in the Process Control and Automation industry. He is also the founder and Managing Director of Aura Consulting Pvt. Ltd, a leading Plant automation company serving Process industry since 1989. Prior to that, Sharan spent two years at Yokogawa Keonics Ltd, as the North India Country Manager, heading their I& C business unit. He also worked as the Product Manager for Distributed Control Systems (Mod 300) at Taylor Instruments, spearheading the DCS market applications in India.

He obtained his BS degree in Electronics and Communication Engg. from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India. He also obtained his MS degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ, USA.

Ben Scolt
PRESIDENT & COO

Ben Scolt has spent over 30 years at ABB Instruments, India and successfully executed over 150 C&I Projects in the utility, Refining, Chemicals, Pulp & Paper & Food industries. He also spent 4 years at ABB Instruments, Rochester, USA as part of international division. In addition to this he has spent three years at Nigeria, and one year in Kenya executing several C&I turnkey projects. Before taking up his present assignment, Ben set up and ran our US operations for 6 1/2 years.

Alok Khemka
DIRECTOR – OPERATIONS

Alok  Khemka has been an entrepreneur for over 25 years and has built three successful enterprise in the Manufacturing , Distribution and Services sector . As Director – Operations he provides Strategic performance leadership   and is responsible for manufacturing, vendor management, planning and initiative coordination at Aura .

He obtained his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India. He also obtained his MBA from Institute of Marketing and Management, New Delhi.

Dan Kerrigan
VP - North America

Dan Kerrigan has over 40 years experience in marketing and manufacturing for the Temperature Sensor and Process Control Industry. His experience includes Regional Sales Manager positions for the Western United States, in addition to national responsibility as General Manager for temperature sensor manufacturing facilities. He has "hands on" ability to work with applications driven both by technical requirements and cost effectiveness.

V.B Agarwal
Vice President (Manufacturing)

V.B Agarwal has over forty one years experience in the field of Manufacturing and project management.He has spent 35 years at ABB Instrumentation Ltd. at various positions.Prior to joining Aura he was General Manager of manufacturing at ABB Instruments and helped them develop various parts and assemblies for ABB global marketplace. He has also worked with Hindustan Motors and Air Conditioning Corporation.

Shyam Kukreja
Regional Director - Western India

Shyam was the Regional head of ABB Instrumentation in Mumbai for over 20 years. His responsibilities included Sales and Marketing, Field Installation and Commissioning, after sales maintenance contracts and Finance and Administration. He also spent a few years in the Middle East with a large EPC contractor as their Procurement and Co ordination Manager.

Shyam obtained his engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology - Powai. He also obtained his Management degree from Mumbai University.

Director - Europe Sales

Angelo has over thirty years experience in the field of Plant automation engineering and project management. He has successfully engineered and commissioned many C&I Projects for power plants, petrochemicals with Foster Wheeler, Intech s.p.a. and Siirtec Nigi s.p.a. Italy.
